We built these Quartz UV lamp tubes for engineers who need serious heat—fast—without taking up a ton of space. These are the kind of tubes you reach for when your industrial work demands an instant blast of heat, like when you’re working with plastics, curing adhesives, or putting components through their paces. Here’s the power behind it. These tubes are all about packing a punch. With 2500W at 400V, they get hot, and they get hot quickly. That rapid ramp-up means you can cut down on cycle time, which is a huge relief when you’re trying to keep things moving. The design is focused, too: 300mm long and just 10mm in diameter. This gives you a tight, concentrated zone of heat, so you can work in a smaller area without compromising on output. But, and this is important, all that power in such a small package creates a lot of ambient heat. So, you’ve got to make sure your machine’s cooling system is up to the task. Plan for it. Why quartz? And what’s the deal with the R7s? The quartz glass body is the hero here. It’s tough enough to handle the shock of switching on and off over and over again. Plus, it lets the UV energy pass through cleanly, which is essential for many of the jobs this lamp handles. Inside, a halogen fill gas keeps the tungsten filament stable, which helps the whole thing last longer. Then there’s the R7s connector. It’s a practical choice, plain and simple. It provides a solid, two-ended connection for the high current, making these tubes a straightforward, drop-in replacement for whatever system you’re already running. How it performs in the real world. Out in the field, these tubes are put to work for things like PET blowing, curing adhesives, and component testing. You get that intense power exactly when you need it. The catch, again, is the heat. You have to plan your shielding and airflow from the start. Do that, and you’ll keep the lamp running strong and reliably for its entire life.
